Streetscape Strategy, St Peter Port, Guernsey

In a joint initiative with States of Guernsey Environment Department, a report has been drawn up by Tibbalds a UK urban design company in which they have produced information regarding the Street furniture, signage ,Litter bins, Street Lighting ,Road surfaces, Hand rails, Railings , Bollards and historic furniture e.g. water pumps etc.

The Steering Committee consulted with regard to the report will be meeting in order to agree on a strategy which will produce consistency throughout the town. Once chosen designs for all purchasable items have been agreed and the Envoironment Department and constables of St. Peter Port are comfortable this will enable expenditure to be undertaken where replacement is necessary.

The Town centre Partnership will act as a catalyst to ensure the agreed policy is respected.
