CCTV and Public Address System, St Peter Port, Guernsey
We have been and are still working closely with Police regarding changes which it
is hoped are due to take place within the next 12/18 months.
The system needs to be overhauled to incorporate
modern technology and the Partnership are being informed regarding progress.A suitable site has been identified for the
control room although financial constraints have deferred positive action.The intention is to await the installation of the
new Political Board following the elections on 18th April and attempt to move the project up the priority list.
Obviously there is a need to ensure that all systems within the Island are compatible and that more importantly the
Town has the cover needed to support the Police in maintaining civil order in the Town at night.
